What are your ties to the service?

As we said earlier, we are a couple of civilians who just wanted to say thank you. We feel it's our duty to help support the people that protect us. We've had many family members and friends give years of dedicated service to America, and understand the commitment and sacrifices put forth by America's bravest.

When is Brave Spirits coming to my state or Class Six?

You will soon find us on bases across the county. It takes a little longer to distribute to local liquor stores nationally, but we're working on it. If you cannot find Brave Spirits in your local store, please contact us and we will work to get it in your area as soon as possible. Thanks for your interest.

Which services do you support?

The short answer - all of them. If you wear a uniform and protect America, we support you. From fire fighters to the Coast Guard and everyone in between, we donate money where it is needed most.

Which charities does Brave Spirits support?

The Brave Spirits Foundation was created to provide funds to charities and organizations that help America's bravest stay safe, recover and enjoy life with family and friends. What they need is always changing - so what we provide and the charities we support will change, too.

How does The Brave Spirits Foundation choose which charities to support?

We recognize that the men and women who have served our country know where the need is greatest. We are honored to have a Donation Advisory Board of veteran, retired and active duty men and women from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, police departments and fire departments who decide when and where we donate funds.

How were members of the foundation chosen?

We believe that diversity in rank and experiences provides the Donation Advisory Board a unique perspective. It is important that the Donation Advisory Board members have unassailable character and command the respect and trust from their specific service and from the overall community.

Can I donate directly to The Brave Spirits Foundation?

As a private foundation, we cannot accept direct donations. Our funding is generated entirely from the $2 from each bottle purchased. We also donate $2 from every merchandise purchase as well.

How much of my $2 is given as a donation?

100%. Two dollars of your $2 will go to the Foundation. There is no fine print. We don't believe in vague percentages of sales. There is no guesswork on your part - we simply donate $2 from every bottle sold.

How is The Brave Spirits Foundation funded?

The expenses to operate The Brave Spirits Foundation are entirely covered by Brave Spirits, the spirits manufacturer, which allows 100% of your $2 to be given to charities.

What is the difference between Brave Spirits and The Brave Spirits Foundation?

Brave Spirits handles all things product related, from producing the spirits and packaging to getting them in stores nationwide. The Brave Spirits Foundation, lead by the Donation Advisory Board, is charged with deciding how to donate the generated funds.

How often will The Brave Spirits Foundation give to charities?

The Donation Advisory Board has complete flexibility in where, when and how donations are made. They don't have a hard and fast timetable. They don't have a minimum donation amount. We want to donate to charities when it will do the most good.
